Austin Housing Market Remains Strong

Central Texas job growth, the strongest in Texas, is responsible for much of the demand for homes. We saw job growth of around 4.5% in 2005. Because of that, we've seen a 14% rise in the sale of single-family homes for the first quarter of this year. We've also seen the continued trend of rising prices.
